Please refer to our shipping and returns tab for any and all shipping and returns rates and terms
  • How do I report a glitch with the website?
Please send us a message using the contact us tab and I will fix that straight away !
  • Im looking to make a particular set up with specific requirements such as enclosure size or hardwood length, can you accommodate this?"
Please send a message using the contact us tab and we will do everything we can to help you and get you a quote if needed :)
  • What sex will the inverts I've purchased be?
We will try our best to give you a mixture of both genders if you have ordered several inverts, however due to the difficult nature of sexing any juvenile insect (and a lot of adult ones!) we can not make any guarantees.
  • How are your invertebrates kept?
We keep put invertebrates in a collection of adequately sised storage boxes with air holes or in mesh cages for the best ventilation. We do our best not to let any of our containers get too crowded and most are kept in the greenhouse with the plants for the best temperature and humidity control.
  • How do you keep your plants?
We have an indoor greenhouse equipped with specialised growing light and air humidifier for optimum growing conditions
  • Whats special about your hardscape logs (driftwood/hardwood/deadwood)
We first treat and freeze the branches and logs we get to kill off any initial organisms which night cause issues. We then strip the bark and less aestethic looking parts off of the branches by hand and sand it to give a nice light wood finish that will look great in any terrarium! We then freeze the log once more to be sure that will be no contamination or issues. Shaved bark like this is very good for millipede enclosures as they will love chewing on the soft deadwood underneath.
  • Whats special about your EntoScapes bioactive soil?
Our bioactive soil is teeming with detritivores and microorganisms such as springtails whilst being (mostly) clear of negative organisms such as fungus gnats and harmful mites. This bioactive soil will need to be changed and cleaned far less often than just regular soil - especially when paired with some ispods!

  • Do you do wholesale orders?
We are more than happy to accept bulk orders on enclosures but due to us only just starting out and colonies still establishing we can't offer wholesale on the other products in our store. If you're unsure you van always drop us a message in the contact us page and we can try to work something out.
  • Im looking to buy a specific species that you don't currently have on offer.
Our stock will be constantly evolving, growing and changing so drop us a message with any requests and we'll see what we can do.
  • Are there any special instructions for unpacking my order in cold weather?
On receipt of a livestock order during winter it is very important to warm them up SLOWLY. They animals may get quite cold during transit, which shouldn't do then any harm provided they are left to warm up to room temperature for a couple of hours BEFORE they are moved into any heated enclosure. Sudden changes of temperature can be harmful for cold blooded animals.
