Our EntoScapes high nutrient plant soil mix comprises of over TEN different all natural ingredients such as composted organic matter, sphagnum moss and perlite. The secret behind the high nutritional value of this substrate is grub frass (yes you read that correctly!), from our beetle larvae. The frass, or poo, are small pellets that hold their form and release nutrients each time the soil is watered. We hate waste at EntoScapes and have found a way to repurpose things!
We understand that if you are like us then you probably have a large collection of house plants which frequently need repotting, so we made a soil which is more suitable for plant growth than being an enclosure substrate.
 
A little of this can also be added around the roots of plants you are putting in your terrariums to give them a nutrient boost to help them settle into the new environment.
