Our natural lichen, moss and rot branches are handpicked from around Devonshire woodlands and are naturally dried to remove unwanted pests whilst preserving beneficial microorganisms.
The pieces will have some mosses, white rot and lichens growing on them and these make excellent pieces for natural decoration as well as providing a food source and hide for many invertebrates.
Scavengers such as isopods and millipedes will love grazing on these natural food sources. They will increase your invertebrates welfare as they encourage natural foraging behaviours as well as ensuring a varied diet for your critters.
These pieces are ideal for terrestrial rainforest / forest terrariums which house critters that spend a lot of time on the ground. You can also use these as edible climbing branches for arboreal millipedes and other inverts that enjoy being up high!
Either place them on the substrate or break them up smaller and bury them slightly, these pieces will help keep your enclosure vibrant and healthy!
Choosing to use natural decorations such as these benefits not only the health and natural aestethic of your enclosure but supports the bioactive element as any detritovores and isopods will love feeding and living on the wood.
Sizes and shapes will vary depending on stock. Sticks will be sent dry, just spray to watch the moss come back to life!

Our shipping rates are determined by the total weight of your cart at checkout.

We almost always choose a postage option which should deliver in 1 or 2 days, especially if the order includes live inverts or plants to ensure they arrive as fast as possible to avoid stressing anything too much, protecting the critters' welfare as well as protecting your purchase.

Royal Mail Tracked 24 is what we've used most frequently for orders including live inverts and 9 times out of 10 will deliver the day after dispatch. First Class and Signed for First Class are sometimes used and 1pm Next-day Special Delivery is an option at checkout if you want a guaranteed arrival.

A different delivery service such as Yodel is only used if the parcel dimensions happen to exceed the Royal Mail limits for that size bracket (eg awkward size/shape hardscape branches).

All our orders are sent out using recyclable materials and reused boxes and packaging, plus we try to avoid single use plastics if we can.
